The International Union of Elevator Constructors has worked for over 100 years to define the issues and collectively resolve these problems for both our large international and smaller local and family-owned affiliates.
Education
We offer a nationally-recognized apprenticeship program administered through local Joint Apprenticeship Training Committees that are comprised of equal parts management and labor representation, giving a fair and honest approach to the program. Our Canadian Elevator Industry Educational Program (CEIEP) is an industry leader in education for both the apprentice and the mechanic looking to continue training. There is no administrative burden on individual companies to manage this world-class education.
