EIWPF is an industry-wide labor-management cooperation committee. There are more than 600 employers in the elevator industry across the United States and Canada, and more than 29,000 organized elevator constructors working for them. The fund was created for the purpose of improving labor-management relationships, competitiveness, productivity, organizational effectiveness, and economic development.
EIWPF is dedicated to providing a forum for open and honest discussions of problems confronting employees and employers in the elevator industry. We provide opportunities to study and explore joint approaches to occupational safety and health, as well as improve communications between representatives of labor and management. We also engage in public relations and public education programs to promote the organized elevator industry.
