NEIEP Apprenticeship
Elevator constructors begin their training at the National Elevator Industry Education Program (NEIEP), a USDOL-Registered Apprenticeship program, as soon as they are hired.
Continuing Education
Finishing apprenticeship isn’t the end of an IUEC mechanic’s education; NEIEP has 40+ online and classroom-based Continuing Education courses.
Industry Certifications
NEIEP and its education partners allow mechanics to earn certifications in OSHA, welding, forklift operation, rigging and signaling, Global Wind Organization (GWO) Basic Training, and more.
Qualified Elevator Inspectors
Through the Qualified Elevator Inspector Training Fund (QEITF)’s ANSI/ANAB-accredited ISO/IEC 17024 personnel certification program, mechanics can become Certified Elevator Inspectors.
